THE CREATION OF SAINTS & PROPHETS
.

Saints are created by the challenges they have when doing what is inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Prophets are created by telling the truth from the Holy Spirit to those who do not wsnt to hear it.

Evolution, which is God's Great Game of LIfe, created beauty and wonders on this unique ever-changing planet, using conflict, competition and adaptation to perfect and replace species during intermittant challenges.

Some 40,000 years ago, we were put on this planet to appreciate and enjoy what God had created in his Great Game of Life. We alone have the range of intellect, asethetics, and curiosity to appeciate all the beauty and wonders that have been created

We left the Ice Age caves into a warming world to be peaceful nomadic family groups of hunter-gatherers who built gigantic stone structures for annual gatherings, beginning some 12,000 years ago.

But then we settled as farmers and had crops and herds to proteect against raiders.

We now have two kinds of modern humans: the peaceful cooperators and the violent competitors.

The peaceful, loving, caring, cooperating, sharing people are content with enough and get their enjoyment from each other's company and this wonderful world. These people have inner serenity and contentment. They are as God intended us to be. These are the Holy Spirit's people.

There are also people who cannot resist the ego-driven excitement of winning in evolution's competition and conflict. At evolution's most extreme, they engage in competition to the death, winner take all. Genocide is the word we now have for that. These people have lives tormented by greed and fear. Few of them can be convinced there is no happiness their way of life

There is some of the saint and prophet in all of the Holy Spirit's people. A few people are called upon for great dedication and/or heroic courage, in a special mission.. If they succeed in their mission, we call them saints and prophets.

It is essential to discern the source of what seems to be a calling to do something special and difficult; .
Can be done?.
Will it do good?.
Will it do no harm?.

If you are troubled by what seems unconquerable evil in the world, you might want to read this revelation to Lady Julian of Norwich which accords with the concept of God's Great Game of Life, at the end of which in her revelation "All will be well."

Revelations of Divine Love
Lady Julian of Norwich (1343-1416)
anchoress, visionary & spiritual advisor

Deeds are done which appear so evil to us and people suffer such terrible evils that it does not seem as though any good will ever come of them; and we consider this, sorrowing and grieving over it so that we cannot find peace in the blessed contemplation of God as we should do; and this is why: our reasoning powers are so blind now, so humble and so simple, that we cannot know the high, marvelous wisdom, the might and the goodness of the Holy Trinity. And this is what he means where he says, 'You shall see for yourself that all manner of things shall be well', as if he said, 'Pay attention to this now, faithfully and confidently, and at the end of time you will truly see it in the fullness of joy.
