"And all shall be well."
Revelations of Divine Love
Lady Julian of Norwich
anchoress, visionary & spiritual advisor 1343-1416

It was revealed to Lady Julian of Norwich that with God's divine love, in the end, all shall be well for all things. In the light of modern science. we could say there is no evil, no Satan, but only our 'human nature' which is evolution's instincts and cravings that we have inherited and must over come to survive and to enjoy the beauty and wonders of this unique planet which has been created for us by evolution, in God's Great Game of Life.

Lady Julian of Norwich wrote “...deeds are done which appear so evil to us and people suffer such terrible evils that it does not seem as though any good will ever come of them; and we consider this, sorrowing and grieving over it so that we cannot find peace in the blessed contemplation of God as we should, because our reasoning powers are so blind now, so humble and so simple, that we cannot know the high, marvelous wisdom, the might and the goodness of the Holy Trinity. And this is what he means where he says, 'You shall see for yourself that all manner of things shall be well', as if he said, 'Pay attention to this now, faithfully and confidently, and at the end of time you will truly see it in the fullness of joy.”

On Divine Providence in Life
in Revelations of Divine Love
Lady Julian of Norwich
(1343-1416)
anchoress, visionary & spiritual advisor

“And I saw that truly nothing happens by accident or luck, but everything by God's wise providence. If it seems to be accident or luck from our point of view, our blindness and lack of foreknowledge is the cause; for matters that have been in God's foreseeing wisdom since before time began befall us suddenly, all unawares; and so in our blindness and ignorance we say that this is accident or luck, but to our Lord God it is not so.”

To overcome evolution's fears and temptations, we can look to the Spiritual Exercises and practice the Evening Recollection of St. Francis Loyola, founder of the Jesuits.

In all this we can seek the help of the Holy Spirit, if we can, in blessed solitude

May the Holy Spirit guide us to understand and make the right choices.

BIO NOTE:

I believe absolutely that choices I was given and choices I made, have been with help and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
.
I am a pilgrim on a journey to an unknown land, seeking for something I cannot define.

.
Now in my 8th decade, I am beginning to find in Sscripture, in the wisdom and scholarship of the ages, in modern science, in my own experiences in life, and in blessed solitude to commune with the Holy Spirit, some of the understanding I am seeking.

May the Holy Spirit inspire, guide, protect and provide on your journey in life.

May you have time for Blessed Solitude in which to commune with the Holy Spirit for wisdom and serenity.
